The overhead guard of the truck is designed using the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software, which helps to ensure that the stress points on the overhead guard are kept to a minimum.
The front support members were designed with a specific channel shape providing rigidity while helping provide overall excellent visibility. For the same reasons,
the top does not use any horizontal stability bars but instead vertical bars giving the operator full view when looking up.
The overhead guard is constructed using a welded one-piece design.
Narrow mast channels provide a large window of vision for the
operator while seated in the normal operating position.
The 3° canted rollers provide stability of the load on these narrower mast
channels.
The cross members of the truck are designed to make sure that the operator has good
visibility through the mast.
The carriage is designed with square fork bars instead of rectangular ones providing
more space, and therefore, more visibility between the bars.
This optional mast features unique design elements that provides excellent
forward visibility:
- Triplex mast without central free lift cylinder
- Cylinders are located inside of inner mast rail
- Operator viewing area increased
- Provides enhanced load handling efficiency
- Integral mounted design available for capacity retention
The design provides for an improved turning radius while maintaining maximum residual capacity due to strategic weight positioning.
Provides housing for the muffler and radiator while providing airflow to the cooling system, which is critical in high-shuttle, dusty, or dirty applications.
Low profile shape allows for good visibility behind the truck from the operator compartment.
Only available on LP/LPG models.
Ability to set specific travel speeds based on your customer's application. This feature is only available when the Ground Speed Control feature is selected.
Easily adjust the truck's maximum speed to meet the needs or safety requirements of your customer.
Adjustments made in diagnostic mode by trained service personnel - Adjust LO-SPEED to the desired speed.
The Factory Preset Maximum Travel Speed (MAX-S) settings available are: 7, 8, 9, or 10 mph.
The ability to switch between high & low maximum travel speeds offers your customer to designate the desired speed settings for varying applications without sacrificing torque or rpm.
The High/Low Travel Speed Control incorporates a two-speed, High/Low rocker switch or key switch, to easily change between the two speed settings.
The default High/Low Maximum Speed settings with these options are High: max (per the speed listed in the Specification Sheet for that model) & Low: 6.2 mph (10 km/h).
In the Economy Mode, electronically controlling the acceleration rate and rpm settings offers your customer enhanced fuel efficiency for increased fuel savings while helping minimize tire spin for longer tire life.
Additionally, a less sensitive acceleration pedal at slow speeds is invaluable when special care of fragile loads is required.
The Controlled Acceleration option has two acceleration settings: Power and Economy. This feature comes in three different variations:
- Rocker switch allowing the operator to easily change between the two acceleration settings
- Key switch enabling the customer to lock the chosen setting
- Jumper connector for Economy Mode-Always ON with no visible indication that the truck is in the Economy Mode
With the Parking Brake / Transmission Interlock, the truck transmission remains in neutral if the parking brake is on.
This system inhibits the truck from being driven with the parking brake on, helping protect key components and extending their service life.
- Protect brakes and transmissions from possible damage caused by driving with the parking brake engaged
- Reduce service costs incurred from premature brake wear or overheated transmissions
Optional Seatbelt Interlock functions restrict truck operation if the seatbelt is not fastened.
These options can help improve operator confidence and promote compliance with an organization's seatbelt requirements.
Options also allow managers to better enforce seatbelt usage within their application.
Four available options that restrict various truck operations.
Provides a low LP fuel level warning to the operator an average of 8 minutes before the LP tank is empty.
This feature allows the operator ample time to drive to the nearest refill station or tank supply area before the truck runs out of fuel, helping to improve plant productivity and reduce downtime.
Offered as standard, the premium full suspension seat is ergonomically designed to provide first class comfort with several adjustments for long hours of comfortable operation.
